Websites for local businesses. I rebuild yours for free, then host it and keep it running.

I'm Tom, a web developer in Wallingford. I work with local businesses on their websites and take care of the hosting and maintenance side of things.

Hosting

$20 a month

or $200 a year.

  • The rebuild is free. No setup fee.
  • Month to month. Cancel anytime.
  • Hosting, security updates and monitoring.
  • You see your new site before you decide anything.

Tweaks to the design, and changes after launch like new hours or prices, cost extra.

What yours could look like.

A few samples, for made-up businesses. Every site is designed from scratch around the business it's for, so no two look alike. No cookie-cutter templates. Pick one to see the whole page.

How it works

No long questionnaire, no sales call. You see a working preview before you decide anything.

  1. 01 · REBUILD

I rebuild your site from what you already have.

Your words, your photos, your menu, your hours, with anything out of date corrected. Nothing generic, nothing made up.

  2. 02 · PREVIEW

    You see it first.

A private preview of your new site, and a side-by-side of what your current site says in words and what the new one says.

  3. 03 · KEEP

I host it and keep it running.

$20 a month or $200 a year covers hosting, security updates and monitoring. Changes after launch, like new hours or prices, are billed separately.

Your information, written out.

Customers, search engines and AI assistants all work from what your site actually says: your hours, menu, prices, phone and address. Every preview comes with a side-by-side of your current site and the new one, so you can see what's written out and what's stuck in a picture or missing.

  • Menus, prices and hours as text, not pictures of text
  • Business details search engines read directly: address, phone, hours
  • A summary written for AI assistants
  • Fast on a phone, with nothing to pinch or zoom

Automated checks and my own assessment. They show what's on the page; they can't promise rankings or customers. This site lists no phone or hours, so it misses those, and a shop shouldn't.

Your own website. Not a rented profile.

Every real business should have a website, for the people who don't want to deal with social media and all its noise. I make it easy to have one, without the upkeep, security updates and monitoring that usually come with it.

However search and AI change the way businesses show up, your website is where you decide what's shown and how. Your domain name, your words, your photos: they're yours. If you leave, your domain name goes with you, and so does a copy of the site.*

Questions

What does the rebuild cost?
Nothing. If you like the preview and want to keep it, hosting is $20 a month or $200 a year. There's no setup fee.
Is there a contract?
No. It's month to month, and you can cancel anytime. Paying for a year at a time is $200.
What's included?
Hosting, security updates and monitoring, so the site stays up and fast. When I build it, I correct anything that's out of date, like old hours. Changes after that, like holiday hours or new prices, are billed separately, and I'll tell you the cost first.
Can I change the design?
Yes. Tell me your ideas when you ask for a preview and I'll build them in for free. Tweaks and alterations after that, like different colors, a new layout or an extra page, cost extra, and I'll tell you the price before I start.
What if I don't have a website yet?
New sites from scratch are coming soon. Send the form without a website, tell me a little about the business, and I'll let you know when they're ready.
Is the preview public?
It sits at an unlisted address that search engines are told to skip, and nothing on your current site changes until you say so.
